DJ Cupid is not professional – Muziga Secretary UWR throws shots

The issue between The upper West Musiga and Djs seem not calm down like people thought. The secretary of the Upper West Regional Musiga Mr.Aziz today in an interview on Entertainment Hub on GBC -Radio Upper West said DJ Cupid who was the DJ for the UWSEA night acted unprofessional.

He narrated that upon their arrival, he noticed the unprofessional nature of the DJ upon even before the whole issue happened. “Am stating it clear here on air that DJ Cupid is not Professional; we see DJs play songs of musicians to welcome them on their arrival at big events such as awards nights. The chairman of Musiga who is King Raph is still a musicians, why didn’t the DJ play any of his songs to welcome him when he entered the hall? Other musicians came also, and none of their songs were played to welcome them. which professional DJ would do that?” He asked

He added that it is a fact they can’t force any Dj to play upper west music on radio and at events, they are humbly appealing to the DJs to please include them in their playlist. For his final words, he said Musiga is taking steps to involve all stakeholders to push upper west music to the next level and so all hands must be on deck.

The news of the Chairman of Musiga and his Secretary leaving a program over DJ Cupid refusing to play upper west music here on has been the hottest issue in the Upper West for the past two weeks.
