John Dumelo continues to make the news as he takes an ambitious journey into the lawmakers chamber in Ghana.
Deeds after deeds, promises after promises, the NDC’s Ayawaso West Wugoun parliamentary candidate seeks to unseat incumbent Madam Lydia Alhassan in the constituency.
Speaking at the launch of his campaign ahead of the December 7 general election at the Bawaleshie School Park on Sunday, October 18, 2020, John Dumelo said it was time to create a football club in the constituency so players can play in the premier league.
“When I enter Parliament, I’d give half of my salary to Ayawaso West Wuogon. The first thing I’ll do with that 50% [of my salary] is to establish a football team in Ayawaso West Wuogon,” he pointed out.
”It’s time to create the West Wuogon Football Club so that the footballers here can also get the opportunity to play in the [Ghana] Premier League and also go abroad.” He promised.
All eyes will be on Ayawaso West Wugoun seat I’m the upcoming December polls.
However, many pollsters believe John Dumelo stands the chance of making history.
