Bubbly young Jamaican songstress has added her voice to the numerous calls globally for an end to the racial discriminations against the black community in America and other parts of the world where it prevails.
This comes on the back of the death of a black- American George Floyd that has sparked protest in the United States.
46 year old George Floyd died after a viral video saw an American police officer kneeling on his neck. George Floyd grasp for breath as he was heard in the footage ” I can’t breathe”.
Meanwhile, Grammy Award winning Mikayla Simpson known as Koffee has charged all blacks ” to fight for freedom and fight against injustice”.
In a facebook post, Koffee said “As we witness the constant injustice towards our brothers and sisters, we must stand together. I may be young, but I can fully feel the weight of the decades of oppression and abuse towards not only Black Americans, but Black people all over the world. Let George Floyd’s life be not in vein. We must fight for freedom and fight against injustice. We are all in this together. None of us are free until all of us are free. ✊🏽#georgefloyd”.
