The dreams of Hon. Ras Mubarak of seeking a return to Parliament has been cutailed by a lecturer at the University of Development Studies.
The former National Youth Authority CEO went to polls Saturday August 24th with hopes of getting the nod from delegates.
However, senior lecturer and head of Faculty of Agribusiness and communication sciences Dr. Hamza Adams has won the Kumbungu Constituency. As of provisional results available to Harmattangh.com indicates that the lecturer will represent his people at the 2020 general elections.
Ras Mubarak had 273 votes, whereas Dr. Hamza Adams secured 401 of the valid votes cast.
