Prumas confirms it’s inability to host it’s 2019 Edition with a press release.

Following the news on and other sources reading the inability of PRUMAS (Progress Upper West Music Awards) to host it’s 2019 edition, the board has confirmed it with a press release on the 18th day of November 2019.

The Prumas board in the press release officially announced to the general public and music lovers that the 2019’s Edition of PRUMAS can’t be hosted due to some reasons including the review of the policies , procedures , and everything concerning the awarding scheme to make it more appealing to the music industry in the upper west region.

The Press release also stated that the Artiste of the year category maintains with the Artiste who won it in 2018 Making the said musician the winner for the two years(2018 & 2019), one can say that all other categories including Dance hall song and Artiste of the year , Best Rapper of the year, hip-hop song of the year and all the categories are winners of those categories for the two years per what was clearly stated in the press release.

Prumas finally thanked all general public, music lovers, stake holders and sponsors adding that they are bouncing back fully in 2020.
